The Greatest Picture Magazine Of All Time
A few years ago I got to spend a day at the Munich Public Archives pouring through their collection of the classic German Picture Magazine, Simplicissimus. It is a treasure trove of brilliant and forgotten cartoon illustration. Some web enthusiasts are starting to post some beautiful examples. Link and some historical info here
